do i like them because they're not trying to be brit/newwave/like everyone else out there? do i like them because they're canadian? do i like them because the singer sounds like tom waits on uppers? do i like them because ohio likes them? do i like them because they're on subpop? (i'm a total sucker for the cognitive dissonance theory)i don't know.
